Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience; strong background in transportation, construction, and tort liability.
• Independently manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Adhere to 1860 yearly billable hour requirement.
• Experience taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience responding to and propounding discovery requests; prior ADR experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with clients, experts, partners, and senior attorneys.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, including status reports.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare strategic memoranda addressing complex issues.
• Draft, prepare, and argue dispositive motions.
• Take and defend depositions and manage discovery.
• Handle arbitrations and mediations to advocate for clients.
• Prepare detailed status reports for insurance carriers.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for effective case management.
