Innovative Driven in New York, NY seeks an Associate Attorney for a premier litigation firm client. You will manage diverse cases from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.

The role requires NY bar admission, experience in transportation/construction/tort defense, and ADR experience. You will work closely with clients, experts, and senior attorneys on strategies and case management.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Experience handling the defense of Transportation, Construction Litigation, and Tort Liability.
• Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations.

Responsibilities

• Manage your caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, prepare strategic memoranda, and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
