TWO is seeking an investor relations professional to join the Investor Relations team. As a part of the Investor Relations team, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that rewards strong business judgement, attention to detail and the ability to bring tasks to completion in a timely manner. The position will be expected to support initiatives with the investment community, assist in ideation, analysis, and development of investor materials, manage the TWO website and CRM, and support the team with the development of ad-hoc materials and messaging.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience working for a public firm, supporting the Investor Relations and/or communications/marketing function.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the development and execution of TWO’s Investor Relations program and strategy.
  2. Support the quarterly earnings process by assisting in the creation and distribution of TWO’s message through the development of conference call materials, quarterly reports, scripts, press release, presentations and other financial information.
  3. Partner and collaborate cross-functionally within TWO, to help gather information related to quarterly financial performance and ensure alignment and accuracy of figures and narrative presented in IR materials.
  4. Research, compile and analyze financial and operational data for both internal and external projects and presentations, including peer analysis.
  5. Monitor industry and peer trends and communicate with internal teams, management and the Board.
  6. Support the planning, logistics, and execution of key investor events such as shareholder meetings, conferences, and NDRs.
  7. Assist in preparing reference materials for executive officers participating in investor meetings or conferences.
  8. Assist with managing investor inquiries/requests and responding to meeting and information requests as appropriate.
  9. Document investor interactions in the IR CRM database and produce reporting on interactions and targets.
  10. Compare and analyze consensus projections relative to internal projections; also track ratings, price targets and other relevant financial and operational data.
  11. Partner with legal and corporate communications to ensure all external communications are accurate, consistent with corporate messaging, and aligned with securities regulations.
  12. Manage the Investor Relations calendar.
  13. Assist with planning and execution of the Annual Stockholders Meeting.
  14. Assist in preparation of regulatory filings and corporate press releases.
  15. Maintain the corporate investor website and ensure updates are posted timely and accurately.
  16. Ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information/materials.
  17. Represent Two Harbors professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
  18. Point of contact for vendors, maintenance and building management relationships.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. 3-5 years of experience, ideally in an Investor Relations role with a public firm.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Sensitivity to compliance issues and SEC rules and regulations.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully across diverse audiences and teams.
  6. Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Website content management skills and familiarity with Google Analytics a plus.
