Job summary

Golub Capital in New York seeks a capable professional to support the Investor Partners Group (IPG) COO team and senior leaders. You will help with strategic initiatives, budgeting, and governance, while ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of projects and rigorous financial analyses.

The role requires 4+ years in financial services or consulting, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and excellent communication. A hybrid office environment in NYC is offered with opportunities to influence process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of experience in top-tier investment banking, investment management or consulting.
• Financial services/asset management experience required.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly.
• Strong project management skills with multitasking ability.
• Experience interacting with senior executives and external partners.
• Proven ability to work with high-performing teams and manage stress with deadlines.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and thinking critically about outputs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IPG COO Team, Co-Presidents and senior leaders with initiatives.
• Support development of business plans, budgets and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are defined, prioritized and completed on time and budget.
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting with Strategic Accounting & Finance.
• Assist with presentations and recommendations for senior management.
• Manage project plans, milestones and execution of initiatives.
• Drive process improvement through AI-enabled solutions.
• Become an expert on Golub Capital and the asset management industry.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and potential implementations.
