Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Associate, Info Security Systems Engineering to support security solutions for national security systems, using NIST RMF, 800-53, 800-171 and related standards.

You will collaborate with system developers and vendors to design, implement, and test secure systems, ensure compliance, and drive security improvements across the product lifecycle. On-site work is required with up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 1 year minimum experience, or 4 years in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level 2 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and authorize vulnerability management to meet security standards.
• Develop cybersecurity features within product offerings.
• Evaluate security posture and recommend enhancements.
• Protect data and ensure privacy compliance.
• Oversee cybersecurity operations and align with business goals.
• Configure networks to enforce security policies.
• Apply RMF guidelines to manage risks.
• Communicate IT security risks to stakeholders.
• Improve security architecture to address new threats.
• Engage stakeholders to integrate security into processes.
• Automate security checks within CI/CD pipeline.
• Mitigate cyber threats and incidents.
• Follow product roadmap security milestones.
• Promote a security-centric culture.
• Apply Agile methodologies to cybersecurity.
• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture framework.
• Interpret IT Architectural Guidelines for security.
• Onsite work required; travel up to 15%.
