Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking an experienced attorney to manage and lead deal teams in the financing of energy and infrastructure projects, including IPPs and critical road assets. You will advise lenders, sponsors and equity investors on complex cross-border financings and oversee multi-jurisdictional deal execution.

Required: LL.M./J.D. or US-equivalent, and NY Bar admission with 6+ years of experience in project finance, debt and equity transactions, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor or equivalent with U.S. admission.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience handling finance work in energy/infrastructure.
• Experience managing cross-border financings and deal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal teams across practice areas and geographies for energy and infrastructure financings.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate financing agreements, security documents, and closing opinions.
• Advise lenders, sponsors and equity investors on project finance transactions and restructurings.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda; perform due diligence in financings, acquisitions and restructurings.
