Job summary

Referment, a global investment and technology firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its global middle-office function in New York. You will act as a primary contact for trading-desk queries and help ensure post-trade activity is reliable, controlled and transparent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years in financial-operations or trade-support.
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle including trade capture, P&L, security-master data and settlement.
• Experience handling front-office enquiries and coordinating stakeholders to resolve operational problems.
• Ability to design or contribute to dashboards and analytics that provide useful operational insight.
• Clear communication, strong organisation and attention to detail, with a willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact for trading-desk enquiries and coordinate post-trade operations across asset classes and strategies.
• Work with trading, technology and operations teams to resolve issues and strengthen processes, controls and data quality.
• Develop workflows, dashboards and tools that improve oversight of trading activity, operational efficiency and continuity of knowledge.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks across the trade lifecycle.
• Contribute to projects that expand middle-office capabilities for new investment strategies or asset classes.
