Job summary

Ares Management LLC seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to support the structuring, execution and distribution of its rated product offerings, focusing on rated note feeders, PBNs and CFOs across the platform.

The role requires strong financial modeling, deal-management discipline, and the ability to coordinate complex processes with internal teams and external partners. Ares offers a broad benefits program and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with rated fund products, structured finance or securitizations.
• Experience on rated note feeders, CFOs or similar fund-level rated structures.
• Exceptional financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Understanding of transaction economics and portfolio cash flows.
• Experience with ratings agencies preferred.
• Ability to manage multi-party transaction processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure, execute and manage rated product transactions, including rated note feeders, PBNs and CFOs.
• Manage end-to-end transaction process: structuring, modeling, ratings, documentation, diligence, marketing, syndication and closing.
• Develop and maintain detailed cash flow models and analyses.
• Lead ratings process activities and interact with ratings agencies.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on structuring and documentation timelines.
• Source, analyze and organize portfolio data for modeling and diligence.
• Develop transaction structures and financing solutions; evaluate alternative structures.
• Engage with institutional investors and third-party placement agents on distribution.
