Moog is seeking an Associate General Counsel to support the Space & Defense Group from the Buffalo, NY area. This hybrid role onsite at the East Aurora facility with potential travel will provide full legal support, shape business strategies, and manage regulatory risk for U.S.

government and commercial programs in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate has a JD and 10+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years in-house, with strong negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• JD with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including 5+ years in a senior in-house role at a large corporation or major law firm.
• Experience in U.S. government contracting and procurement processes.
• Ability to develop and implement effective legal and business strategies and partnerships.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration to resolve matters and drive initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive legal support and advise on compliance with laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement business and legal strategies.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance functional excellence.
• Lead major negotiations and agreements for SDG with heightened risk or enterprise scope.
• Support SDG in resolving litigation, disputes and claims.
