Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide internal legal support and coordinate PJM's regulatory compliance activities. The role involves representing PJM before FERC, preparing filings, and supervising the Law Department to align with federal and state regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional legal initiatives, advise executive management on complex regulatory matters, and ensure PJM’s compliance with energy market

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership or managerial experience.
• Experience with federal energy regulation and state utility regulations.
• Experience with PJM processes or committees is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal legal support for PJM and manage regulatory compliance activities.
• Represent PJM before FERC in proceedings, rulemakings, complaints and filings.
• Lead and supervise the Law Department, including staff attorneys and paralegals, and oversee outside counsel.
