Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide internal legal support and manage regulatory compliance activities for PJM. You will lead filings before FERC and state regulators, supervise attorneys and staff, and coordinate with outside counsel to advance PJM's regulatory objectives.

The role requires JD with 10+ years of leadership, experience with PJM agreements and tariffs, and a strong track record in energy regulation.

Qualifications

• JD required with 10+ years of leadership experience in a managerial/supervisory role.
• MBA degree preferred.
• Experience with PJM Agreements and Tariffs.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
• Experience supporting any of PJM Committees.

Responsibilities

• Represents PJM in proceedings before FERC, including rulemakings, complaints, tariff filings and compliance filings.
• Serves as primary legal liaison between PJM and FERC staff, administrative law judges and other federal stakeholders.
• Prepares filings with FERC and state regulatory agencies; oversees staff attorneys.
• Mentor and develop attorneys, paralegals and staff; supervise Law Department.
