A client of 6 Degrees Group is hiring a Senior Associate, Fund Finance & Operations in Atlanta, GA to own the accounting, reporting, and day-to-day operations for a set of investment funds and related entities. You will be the main point of contact for third-party fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and timely investor materials.

This in-office role offers high visibility as you move from preparing the work to owning the review, coordinating capital calls, distributions, and waterfall

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of fund accounting experience including partnership accounting, investor reporting, and fund operations.
• Strong understanding of capital transactions, waterfalls, and investor allocations.
• Experience with fund administrators and auditors; Dynamics 365 a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and coordinate recurring accounting and investor deliverables.
• Review capital call and distribution notices, investor allocations, and administrator-prepared financial statements.
• Validate capital activity, management fees, partnership allocations, and waterfall calculations.
• Support quarter-end, year-end, audit, and tax reporting, working through discrepancies with auditors and tax advisors.

A client of 6 Degrees Group is looking to hire a Senior Associate, Fund Finance & Operations in Atlanta, GA. Our client is a nationally recognized multifamily real estate investment, development, and management firm with a growing fund platform. In this role, you'll own the accounting, reporting, and day-to-day operations for a set of investment funds and related entities. You'll be the main point of contact for third-party fund administrators, making sure everything they produce is accurate, on time, and ready for investors. It's a fully in-office role with a lot of visibility, perfect for a fund accountant who wants to move from preparing the work to owning the review.

Responsibilities:
