Zusammenfassung

Grant Thornton (US) seeks a Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate to drive buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market transactions, partnering with experienced teams to validate and create value across the transaction lifecycle.

You will lead diligence on income statements and balance sheets, draft earnings reports, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with partners and clients. A CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 2 to 6 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross‑industry clients at a national level required.
• CPA preferred or CPA in process preferred.
• Solid experience in accounting, audit, or transaction advisory services.
• Strong knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, and M&A.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing practice.
• Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills.
• Prior relevant consulting experience preferred.
• Travel up to 25%.

Aufgaben

• Perform buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and capital markets transactions.
• Perform financial due diligence on Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Lead analysis on key operational data, net working capital, debt, and debt-like items.
• Draft initial reports including Quality of Earnings for clients.
• Create tailored advisory reports on issues like normalized earnings and debt considerations.
• Collaborate with partners on proposals and business development calls.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours.
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates.
• Assess performance for engagements and year-end reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
