Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate in New York to partner with Sales, Business Development, Strategy, and Product to build robust financial models from scratch and to drive Go-To-Market decisions for restaurant merchant deals across Marketplace, Commerce Platform and emerging lines of business.

You will collaborate with teams across the business to inform strategic financial decisions, support pricing, policy analysis, and portfolio performance initiatives while helping scale the restaurant

Qualifications

4+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector.
Ability to influence cross-functional partners at all levels.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company
Experience with leveraging AI tooling to improve processes
Basic SQL proficiency (or strong willingness to learn)

Responsibilities

Help support and scale our restaurant vertical
Analyze operational/financial data, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
Build and maintain models and analyses to balance growth vs. profitability
Work with cross-functional partners to support new processes and policies
