Heidrick & Struggles, a leading executive leadership advisor, seeks an Executive Search Senior Associate in Houston to drive critical portions of the recruitment lifecycle—from strategy development with Consultants to candidate assessment and placement. The role emphasizes relationship management with clients and senior executives, with exposure to business development activities.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years recruiting experience or 3+ years transferable recruiting experience.
• Undergraduate BA/BS degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Research & writing: develop position specifications and an effective search strategy with the Consultant.
• Conduct industry-specific and client research to map the executive talent landscape.
• Assist Consultants in preparing business development materials for clients.
• Contact prospective candidates to elicit interest, obtain referrals, and gather market intelligence.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess qualifications and fit to specifications.
• Write candidate assessments and present candidates to clients.
• Manage candidate relationships throughout the search life cycle.
• Contribute to client relationship management with the Consultant.
• Live Our Values: collaborate across stakeholders, foster trust, and uphold firm initiatives.
• Act with professionalism, confidentiality, and ethics; deliver high-quality reports on time.
