Job summary

Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) is seeking a Senior Associate in New York to lead transaction diligence and underwriting across energy, utility, and infrastructure investments. You will prepare detailed financial models, investment committee materials, and briefing documents for complex capital structures.

You will oversee analysts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive progress toward key milestones in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the offered role or related occupations.
• 3+ years building detailed financial models in Excel and cash flow pro formas.

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction diligence and underwriting of new investments.
• Prepare financial models, investment committee presentations, and third-party briefing materials.
• Lead internal discussions to evaluate viability of investment opportunities and financing structures.
• Oversee analysts and associates on deal teams and monitor progress toward milestones.
