Job summary

The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business is seeking an Associate Director of Development, Leadership Annual Giving. This frontline fundraiser will build a donor portfolio, qualify and solicit leadership annual gifts, and collaborate across units to expand philanthropic support for the College and the University.

You’ll manage a 100–200 prospect portfolio, drive multi-channel outreach, and partner on campaigns like Giving Tuesday and Dean’s Circle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5 years of professional experience including at least 3 years of donor, constituent relations, and relationship-based sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience closing gifts or sales through direct cultivation of individual prospects.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of 100–200 prospects rated at the leadership annual giving and/or major gift level.
• Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects in support of leadership annual giving and future major gifts.
• Develop strategies to renew and upgrade prospects.
• Utilize multichannel engagement to deepen relationships.
• Solicit gifts between $1,000 and $49,999, including multi-year commitments.
