Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, operational risk management, internal audit or related risk functions within a community bank or credit union.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, including building out and coaching a team.
• Certifications such as CRCM, CRM, PRM, FRM, CRMA, CAMS or other relevant banking risk certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the compliance and operational risk management program for assigned banking activities, providing practical risk guidance.
• Assess and document risks across banking operations, including deposits, payments, consumer-facing processes and third-party relationships.
• Escalate emerging risks and control weaknesses to business leaders and Risk Management leadership.
• Leverage data analytics and risk reporting to identify themes and provide insights for decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk management processes and control testing.
• Support audits, examinations, findings, and remediation activities.
• Provide coaching and risk management guidance to team members and partners.
