Job summary

Wright State University seeks an Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions to lead the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions within the Boonshoft School of Medicine. This senior role oversees admissions, student wellness, and student progression in undergraduate medical education.

Qualifications

Terminal degree from an accredited institution required.
Five years’ experience in medical education or higher education with knowledge of student affairs/admissions.
Five years of progressive leadership in medical education or related areas.
Demonstrated scholarly activity and leadership in student affairs or admissions.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight for OSAA, including supervision, budgeting, and program assessment.
Oversee student support services, engagement, wellness, and onboarding requirements.
Lead holistic admissions and enrollment management aligned with BSOM missions.
Collaborate with LCME-related accreditation standards and institutional leadership.
Serve on committees and lead major student events and ceremonies.
