Job summary

PwC in San Francisco seeks a Deals Valuation - Financial Analytics & Derivatives Senior Associate to value derivatives and other instruments, assess deal risks, and support mergers and acquisitions. You will manage valuation workstreams, develop models, and present insights to clients and deal teams.

You'll leverage Bloomberg, MATLAB, Python, VBA, and Alteryx to source data, run simulations, and automate calculations, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high professional standards on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 3 years of experience
• Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills
• Experience with derivatives valuation

Responsibilities

• Develop quantitative models to value derivatives and other instruments
• Apply option pricing and Monte Carlo methods to assess structures and risks
• Analyze balance sheets and cash flows to assess values in M&A
• Evaluate fair value measurements and purchase price allocations
• Test model inputs via sensitivity analysis and market data comparisons
• Use Bloomberg, MATLAB, Python, VBA, and Alteryx to source data and automate calculations
• Present valuation findings to clients and deal teams and explain implications
• Manage valuation workstreams and coordinate stakeholder feedback
