Job summary

Sallie Mae is hiring a Senior Associate, Data Analytics to support analytics initiatives, gather and analyze data, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with the analytics team to deliver insights and recommendations for the business.

You will gather, clean, and prepare data for analysis, develop models, and create presentations for leadership. This role emphasizes data quality, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in analytics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail analytics is preferred.

What You’ll Contribute
