Job summary

Sallie Mae is seeking a Senior Associate, Data Analytics to support analytics initiatives and collaborate with the analytics team to drive data-driven decisions. You will gather and clean data, build models, and prepare forecasts to inform planning and strategy.

The role emphasizes rigorous data quality, clear communication to leadership, and cross-functional teamwork in a hybrid environment. A related degree and analytics experience are preferred.

What You’ll Contribute

As the Senior Associate, Data Analytics, you will support our analytics initiatives, working closely with the analytics team to gather and analyze data, generate insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

• Support the analytics team in conducting data analysis, modeling, and reporting to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Gathering, clean, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Develop models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
• Create presentations on findings and provide sound recommendations to leadership to influence strategic decision-making.
• Create and maintain data documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and data management processes.
