Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking an Associate Counsel to join the ABC Transactions Team. The role focuses on general commercial transactions, procurement issues, and a broad range of contracts including IT/software and licensing.

You will liaise with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to structure, draft, and negotiate deals. The ideal candidate has a JD and Virginia Bar admission with 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably handling complex corporate transactions within a consumer goods

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Current Virginia Bar membership
• Minimum of 3 years of experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and business development transactions
• Experience representing large, complex businesses and working with senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on general commercial transactions and procurement issues
• Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including IT/software, services, licensing and supply contracts
• Coordinate and manage legal aspects of deals with internal stakeholders
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of the Transactions Team
