Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Sr. Associate, Commercial FP&A to partner with CNS teams on financial planning, forecasting, and long-range budgeting.

You will support the Associate Director with revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and income statement development to drive business decisions. The role requires collaboration across functions, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP/Essbase and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Finance/Accounting required; MBA preferred.
• 3-5+ years of relevant finance experience, pharma/healthcare preferred, specifically within a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Knowledge of gross-to-net concepts and principles is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively cross-functionally with stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills; ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) valued.
• System knowledge of SAP and Essbase a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue drivers such as price, demand, and inventory and prepare commentaries for leadership.
• Prepare variance analyses and performance reports with clear narrative insights and recommendations.

• Perform operating expense month-end accruals and reconciliations.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly financial results to senior management.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses including NPV, ROI, price/volume, and Gross to Net reconciliation.

Job Summary:

Salary

Minimum $96,112.00 - Maximum $143,750.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
