Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Value Acceleration Office (VAO) team in Dallas, helping clients stabilize financial operations and implement cloud accounting systems. This role blends accounting knowledge with project support to modernize finances and ensure smooth transitions to ongoing support.

You will design and optimize accounting processes, assist with onboarding, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience; professional services a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize cloud accounting solutions and perform accounting readiness services.
• Support client deliverables by providing accounting guidance and answering software-related questions.
• Accounting process design and optimization.
• Prepare documentation for a smooth transition to recurring service teams.
• Communicate progress, flag risks and roadblocks early, and maintain project momentum.
• Deliver high-quality work on time while meeting client expectations and project budgets.
• Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across internal teams.
• Follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Continue developing your accounting and technology expertise through ongoing learning, certifications, and knowledge sharing.
