Aprio in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Senior Associate for our Client Accounting Services team. You will prepare financial statements, handle tax work, and deliver accounting support to clients.

With 3–5 years of accounting experience, you will engage with client personnel under guidance, grow through varied engagements, and enjoy a collaborative, growth‑oriented culture with flexible remote/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing financial statements for clients.
• Experience with tax returns.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to learn different software and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for more complex clients.
• Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work.
• Calculate, review, and analyze financial ratios.
• Complete more complex business and personal tax returns.
• Begin client relationship and discuss open items.
• Work on income tax projections and cash flow projections.
• Start to work independently with minimal review.
