Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Senior Associate or Of Counsel to join a sophisticated business litigation practice in Los Angeles. The role is designed for an experienced litigator who can own complex commercial matters, manage strategy and execution, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

The ideal candidate brings at least eight years of litigation experience, with substantive business litigation background.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of litigation experience in business litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling depositions, motions, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex business litigation matters from assessment to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement, arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Develop case strategy, evaluate claims, and advise clients on risk and outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other high-level litigation work product.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and support hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.
