Job summary

Amwins Brokerage in Scottsdale seeks an Associate Broker to support submissions, market selection, and coverage determinations. The role emphasizes building relationships with agencies and underwriters and ensuring timely resolutions to issues that arise.

We value 3–5+ years of P&C experience, wholesale insurance exposure, and a valid or preferred P&C license. This full-time position offers a collaborative, team-driven environment with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred.
• P&C license preferred.
• Experience with developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally

Responsibilities

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes.
• Analyze submissions and provide market selection.
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals.
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with agency and underwriter partners.
• Respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies and provide resolution.
• Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers.
• Monitor various reports for consistency.
• Other duties as assigned based on team need

Each Associate Broker provides vital team functions:

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
• Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
• Develop relationships with our agency and underwriter partners
• Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
• Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers
• Monitor various reports for consistency
• Other duties as assigned based on team need

We are looking for people with:

• 3‑5+ years of P&C insurance experience
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred
• P&C license preferred
• Experience with developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally
