Job summary

Epicwayz Advisors seeks a Senior Associate to manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of client accounts in a hybrid Plano role. You’ll handle month-end close, budgeting, and client communication, supporting tax season with our offshore team when needed.

You will work 2–3 days per week in the Plano office and the rest remotely, collaborating with a CPA leadership team to deliver accurate, timely financials across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of public accounting experience; consulting or professional services is a plus.
• Comfortable moving between detailed accounting/tax work and higher level budgeting or analysis.
• Experience preparing individual or business tax returns, or eager to develop this skill.
• Able to manage multiple books across clients with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of month end close, reconciliations, and basic financial statement prep.
• Proficient in Drake/QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and month end close for multiple client accounts.
• Quality review of work, identify discrepancies before statements reach clients.
• Provide client support with questions about financial statements and numbers.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for client review.
• Support tax season handoff and assist with tax returns as needed.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring workflows and onboarding of new clients.
