Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Associate for the National Accounting and Audit Operations Centre of Excellence. You will support the Audit & Assurance business across analytical, reporting and administrative tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service.

The role emphasizes data analysis, tool proficiency, and mentoring junior team members. Based in the Cardiff area with a hybrid working policy, you will develop subject‑matter expertise and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a regulated environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Able to plan, prioritise, multi‑task and manage own workload to tight deadlines.
• Strong numeracy and data analysis; ability to spot trends and anomalies.
• Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Able to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple analytical, reporting and administrative tasks.
• Provide service excellence to the Audit & Assurance business and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop understanding of regulated/compliance‑focused business and key tools.
• Produce, analyse and update reports; conduct research; maintain data sources; respond to queries.
• Coach and mentor junior Associates; contribute to team quality and delivery.
