Deloitte’s London-based Algorithm and AI Assurance team seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead high-impact assurance projects across clients and technologies. You will drive risk-based testing, develop testing strategies, and mentor multidisciplinary teams while building strong client relationships and contributing to business development.

As a senior leader, you will shape assurance delivery, manage budgets, and collaborate across services to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Keen interest in regulatory requirements relating to digital regulation (e.g. Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, Online Safety Act, EU AI Act, etc).
Significant experience in internal or external audit or assurance, including planning and scoping engagements, assessing risk, developing proportionate audit procedures, performing design and operating effectiveness testing of controls, evaluating evidence, exercising professional judgement and forming clear, well-supported conclusions.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex audit or assurance engagements from planning through to completion, including directing multidisciplinary teams, reviewing work and evidence, resolving significant findings and communicating outcomes and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering high-quality reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
Experience leading and managing complex, multi-faceted projects, including the development of project plans, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation.
Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Experience in managing client expectations and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Highly motivated and results-oriented, with initiative and a proactive approach.
Keen interest in AI-enabled tools to streamline delivery and improve quality.
Knowledge of regulatory landscape around major digital platforms (e.g. DSA, DMA, Online Safety Act, EU AI Act).
Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and advising clients on compliance strategies.
Experience in control enhancement and regulatory change in professional services or industry.
Coding knowledge (SQL, Python, Java) or advanced data modelling/analytics.
Use of Gen-AI to drive efficiencies in delivery and design of services.

Responsabilités

Lead and manage a team across the Digital Regulation Assurance focus areas described above.
Provide assurance over large technology platforms' compliance with Digital Regulations and communicate findings to clients.
Lead and manage in-depth control reviews and testing leveraging Deloitte methodologies.
Develop and implement innovative assurance approaches to address emerging risks.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
Contribute to business development activities and marketing events.
Mentor and develop junior team members and foster collaboration.
Ensure all deliverables meet Deloitte's quality and risk standards.
Collaborate with cross-service line teams to deliver integrated services.
