This is a highly collaborative and deadline-driven position combining investment research, asset performance management, client and stakeholder communication, financial analysis, and execution of property-level initiatives. The Asset Manager will serve as a key point of contact for assigned properties and work across multiple areas of the organization to ensure priorities are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has a strong commercial real estate background, understands the financial and operational drivers behind asset performance, and thrives in an environment where priorities move quickly and clear communication is expected.

Location: St. Louis, MO | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day performance and strategic priorities of an assigned portfolio of primarily commercial real estate assets
  • Research existing and prospective real estate investments and provide clear findings and recommendations
  • Analyze asset performance, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, NOI, occupancy, lease expirations, tenant concentration, and market conditions
  • Monitor property performance against established budgets and annual business plans
  • Identify financial, operational, leasing, and market-related concerns and recommend strategies to mitigate risk or improve asset value
  • Evaluate hold/sell decisions, refinancing opportunities, property valuations, and other investment scenarios
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day asset management contact and first point of escalation for assigned properties
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, ownership groups, lenders, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate tenant improvements, construction draws, capital projects, and related budgets
  • Monitor capital expenditures and ensure projects remain aligned with approved objectives
  • Support leasing activity, occupancy strategies, tenant retention efforts, and market evaluations
  • Review leases, loan documents, operating agreements, and other contractual obligations impacting assigned assets
  • Monitor compliance with loan requirements and other property-level obligations
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reporting for leadership and other stakeholders
  • Prepare asset performance summaries, reports, and other requested financial or operational information
  • Work closely with property management, accounting, leasing, construction, and other teams to address property needs and improve asset performance
  • Coordinate with external partners including brokers, lenders, attorneys, consultants, vendors, and property management teams
  • Manage multiple projects, requests, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
  • Communicate asset-level risks, opportunities, and recommendations clearly and directly to leadership

  • Strong understanding of revenue, expenses, cash flow, NOI, occupancy, leasing, and other key real estate performance metrics
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting leases, loan documents, and other real estate agreements
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Ability to research investments and translate information into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate directly and effectively with leadership, clients, and external partners
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across multiple areas of an organization
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred; an Associate’s degree combined with significant relevant experience will also be considered
Preferred Experience
  • Direct commercial real estate asset management experience
  • Experience managing a portfolio of multiple properties
  • Experience with both commercial and multifamily real estate assets

Who You Are
