Job summary

ZBiotics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Affiliate Growth Marketing to lead the affiliate program and related channels from day one. You will manage agency relationships, forecast KPIs, and scale the affiliate ecosystem.

The role offers a rare chance to own real budget and drive growth at a fast-growing startup. You will collaborate with the Senior Growth Marketing manager, optimize campaigns with data-driven insights, and shape the partner mix across podcasts, newsletters, and YouTube.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of performance marketing experience.
• Experience working with affiliates or endorsers (podcasters, newsletters, YouTubers).
• Experience with an affiliate network (Impact, ShareASale) and PM tools like Asana, Notion, or Monday.
• Comfort with growth math (NCPA, ROAS, LTV) and using performance data to optimize campaigns.
• Familiarity with attribution tools such as Triple Whale and Northbeam.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow ZBiotics’ affiliate programs, including agency relationships, communications, and commission payments.
• Forecast performance of KPIs such as new customers and new customer cost.
• Scale affiliate marketing and create a feedback loop from affiliates to the team.
• Build and run Amazon Affiliate program.
• Review sponsorship content for brand- and language-brand consistency; generate talking points.
• Support and champion Innovation Tests across affiliate channels.

With a full line of genetically engineered probiotics in development, our team is growing. We’re looking for people as excited as we are to build this new category of consumer products. ZBiotics is headquartered in San Francisco and backed by venture investors including Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures, among others.

About the Role

ZBiotics’ affiliate program is our most efficient acquisition channel, while our podcast / newsletter / YouTube program is our largest spending acquisition channel, on track to cross $1M in monthly spend this year, and we are just getting started. As a Senior Associate of Affiliate Growth Marketing you will take the reins on running these programs day-to-day, working directly with our Senior Growth Marketing manager to scale and support. Your Responsibilities

The following are essential functions of this role:

Affiliate Marketing

• Own and grow ZBiotics’ affiliate programs, including agency relationships, communications, and commission payments. Report weekly and forecast performance of KPIs such as new customers and new customer cost.
• Scale affiliate marketing for the business (while remaining efficient) and create a cycle of feedback from ZBiotics affiliates to the team.
• Analyze and report metrics, learnings, and challenges to the team.
• Build and run Amazon Affiliate program.
• Review podcast, newsletter, and YouTube sponsorship content to ensure it’s on-brand and compliant with our language guidelines before going live. Generate new talking points for these sponsorships based on seasonality and current promotions. Complete weekly performance review and share with the team.
• Support and help champion “Innovation Tests” - identifying, testing, and learning from your existing affiliate channels.

About You

You’re a growth marketer who wants more than a narrow lane. You want to own multiple channels, and build systems that let it scale. You like working with a learning focused team and having a visible impact on how the business is succeeding.

Desired Qualifications

• 3-5 years of performance marketing experience
• Experience working with affiliates or endorsers (podcaster, newsletters, Youtubers)
• Experience with an affiliate network (e.g. Impact, Superfiliate, ShareASale) and project management tools like Asana, Notion, or Monday
• Comfort with growth math (NCPA, ROAS, LTV, etc) and ability to use performance data to optimize campaigns
• Comfort with RFP process and affiliate agency landscape

Additional Helpful Experience

• Experience at a startup or small company where you’ve helped build new processes or policies from scratch
• Familiarity with an attribution tool (Triple Whale, Northbeam)
• Shopify know-how, and/or CPG DTC and/or Amazon

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $128,000 a year plus equity.
A presented offer may be higher, depending on qualifications and experience.
