Job summary

South Dakota Mines is seeking a confident, energetic Senior Associate Athletic Director of Internal Operations to lead internal operations for Hardrocker Athletics. Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and Title IX requirements in athletics administration.
• Experience in coordinating departments and fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Background in budgeting, compliance, event management, and student-athlete welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for internal operations of Hardrocker Athletics.
• Coordinate home events, staffing, facility readiness, and ticket operations.
• Assist with managing department budgets and discretionary accounts.
• Supervise sports and support coaches in budgeting, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and community service activities.
• Represent SD Mines at RMAC, NCAA, and professional meetings; liaise with RMAC office.
