Tulsa County is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor for the South Lakes Course. Under the Course Superintendent, you will oversee maintenance and construction tasks to ensure premium turf conditions and revenue generation.

Responsibilities include planning schedules, directing crews, and managing irrigation and chemical applications. Requires horticulture turf management education and supervisory experience, with a valid driver’s license and applicator certifications as listed.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college with a degree in horticulture, turf management or closely related field, and over three years of relevant golf course maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating work activities.
• Knowledge of chemical formulations, scheduling and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Produce premium playing conditions to attract golfers and revenue.
• Plan and execute short and long-term goals; write daily work schedules.
• Direct workers in cultivation, grading, seeding and sodding golf areas; monitor progress.
• Inspect turf; determine mowing height and irrigation needs.
• Hire part-time and seasonal workers and maintain maintenance records.
