Zuma in San Diego is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, uphold service standards, and drive guest satisfaction. You will partner with the General Manager to lead the management team and support financial performance.

This role requires strong leadership in a high-volume, upscale setting, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, inventory, health-and-safety compliance, and collaboration on marketing initiatives to elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Restaurant Manager role in a high-volume upscale setting.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the management team and staff.
• Monitor financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supply chain logistics.
• Implement health and safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing and promotional initiatives.
