Job summary

Zuma Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, partner with the General Manager, and drive financial performance across our contemporary Japanese restaurant collection.

You will lead a management team, uphold high service standards, and foster a positive work environment while guiding growth and performance across multiple venues in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a Restaurant Manager role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or related environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of hospitality, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and develop the management team and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supply chain logistics to ensure efficient operations.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives.
