Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to work directly alongside the GM and contribute as a strong presence in daily restaurant operations. The AGM should be capable of running the restaurant in the GM's absence and view the role as an operational leadership position, not just a closing manager role.

You will lead shifts, coach staff, uphold service standards, assist with scheduling and labor management, and ensure cleanliness and organizational readiness across

Qualifications

• Experience as AGM, Restaurant Manager, or strong Service Manager.
• Experience in polished full-service or high-volume dining.
• Seafood or raw bar experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits and cocktails.
• Excellent floor management and service standards.
• Ability to coach staff, lead pre-shifts, and maintain standards.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and restaurant systems.
• Ability to handle guest issues professionally and confidently.
• High attention to cleanliness, organization and presentation.
• Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive culture.
• Desire and potential to grow into a future General Manager.
