TBG | The Bachrach Group seeks an experienced CPA-level Senior Accountant in New York to manage daily accounting, intercompany transactions, and cash flow. You will maintain ledgers, prepare financial statements, and support GP allocations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor's in accounting, and strong Excel. CPA preferred. This role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and cross-entity reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive or senior-level accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and accounting responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting activities and cash balances monitoring.
• Review bank transactions and maintain cash activity log.
• Record intercompany invoices and related payments in Sage Intacct.
• Prepare and record GP allocations and related schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
• Review general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Convert foreign entity statements to reporting currency.
• Assist with tax forms for GP members and ad-hoc projects.
