Job summary

ECG Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its NYC family office accounting team. The role reports to the President and provides hands-on leadership across multiple family entities, investment structures, and special projects.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of accounting experience, Sage Intacct proficiency, and a background in financial services. This is a high-visibility, senior contributor position with growth toward Controller responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Sage Intacct experience required.
• Financial services background preferred.
• Strong multi-entity accounting and financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting across multiple family entities and structures, including accounting, reconciliations, closing, budgeting, and general-ledger oversight.
• Manage cash activity, liquidity requirements, capital calls, distributions, wires, and banking controls.
• Serve as the primary resource for Sage Intacct software.
• Support audits, compliance filings, operational reviews, and business-continuity planning.
• Provide financial administration and reporting for family members and related entities.
• Serve as an experienced resource to more junior members of the accounting team.
• Partner closely with the COO, senior management, and the broader accounting and operations teams on special projects and evolving priorities.
