Job summary

Authority Brands is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and manage internal controls across its multi-brand platform. You will lead the Accounting Managers and own P&L sign-off each period to ensure accuracy for all entities.

In addition, you will coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, and Tax on consolidated reporting, drive audit readiness, and mentor a growing accounting team as the company expands through acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10-12+ years of progressive accounting experience including public accounting.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-brand, or PE-backed organizations; strong audit management.
• Proven people leadership and team development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP financial statements across entities.
• Own final P&L sign-off and ensure accuracy before submission to FP&A and leadership.
• Coordinate with FP&A, Treasury, and Tax on consolidated reporting.
• Lead Accounting Managers and strengthen internal controls for scale.
