Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in publicly traded/multi-company environment.
• Experience budgeting, cost analysis, and cost allocation.
• Experience leading month-end close and meeting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing and prepare internal monthly financial statements and packages.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end reports.
• Collaborate with Commissions team to analyze and reconcile reports.
• Support Accounts Payable and Claims Billing as needed.
• Train and mentor junior staff and assist with annual audits.
• Assist with system reviews for process improvements.
