Job summary

Pivotal Solutions is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Corporate Controller in managing all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. The role ensures GAAP/IFRS adherence and delivers timely, insightful reports to guide business decisions.

The candidate will collaborate with JV parent companies, drive process improvements, and supervise accounting staff while helping to maintain strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master’s or CPA preferred.
• 6–10 years progressive accounting experience, including supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, Profit and IFS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Controller in overseeing core accounting operations.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparation and consolidation of financial statements per GAAP/IFRS.
• Ensure adherence to banking reporting and covenants; support audits and internal controls.
• Design, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
