Job summary

Orsted North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Asset Performance to advance data-driven insights for operating assets across the Americas. The role focuses on developing tools, data models, and dashboards to identify performance improvements in wind, solar, and storage projects.

The candidate will build robust data pipelines, validate supplier reporting, and drive anomaly detection to optimize asset availability and efficiency. Domestic travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field and 1 year in energy or similar industry.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience accepted as alternative.
• Knowledge of renewable energy sector, regulatory framework, and data modeling for asset performance.

Responsibilities

• Support development of data tools and effective data management for operating assets in Americas (wind, solar, storage).
• Design and implement indices, metrics, and data models to identify performance improvements.
• Develop data platform with focus on anomaly detection and asset performance monitoring.
• Build pipelines to collect, load, clean, and transform large datasets.
• Validate supplier reporting against contract requirements.
• Develop and manage new metrics, algorithms, and indicators for assets.
• Test data sources for analysis and reporting and assess data quality.
• Refine processes for internal and external reporting deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape organizational views and decisions.
• Promote analytics improvements within renewable industry by sharing expertise.
