Job summary

Orsted North America Inc. in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Analyst, Asset Performance to drive data-driven insights for operating assets across the Americas (onshore wind, solar, and storage).

You will develop and optimize data pipelines, dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and models to identify performance improvements, monitor asset health, and support stakeholders with analytics-driven decisions. Candidates should have advanced analytics skills, experience with Python, SQL, Azure, and ETL,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of energy industry experience accepted as alternative.
• Knowledge of renewable energy sector, NERC, ML models, ETL pipelines, and data visualization.
• Experience in BI dashboards (Power BI or Tableau), SQL, Python, Git, Azure, and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of tools and data management for asset performance analysis.
• Design indices, metrics, and data models to identify performance improvements.
• Develop data platform for anomaly detection and monitoring asset performance.
• Build pipelines to collect, clean, and transform large datasets.
• Validate supplier reporting against contract requirements.
• Develop, report, and manage implementation of new metrics and indicators.
• Test and implement data sources for analysis and reporting, including data quality checks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape organizational views and decisions.
• Promote analytics improvements within the renewable industry with the team.
