A private real estate investment company is seeking an experienced asset manager for their portfolio of value-add and adaptive reuse and Single Tenant Net Lease (STNL) investments, across industrial, retail, and office sectors in the New York metropolitan area. The company has a 25-year track record of successful investment strategies that maximize asset value and provide tenants with superior service, as a fully integrated owner/operator with 1.5MM sf AUM.
Position
The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for optimizing the operating and financial performance of the company’s portfolio of office, retail, and industrial properties which includes driving strategies for and reporting on both individual asset and portfolio-level performance. The role encompasses strategic asset management, property-level asset management, supporting new acquisitions/dispositions/refinancing, and investor relations (debt/equity). The Senior Asset Manager will develop and execute the appropriate strategies that include increasing revenues through leasing, controlling expenses, and identifying capital improvements that maximize investment returns/values.
This role requires 7+ years of hands-on real estate asset management experience, strong excel modeling skills, knowledge of debt testing and review of loan documents, skill in business plan creation, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. As an individual contributor as part of an entrepreneurial team, the Senior Asset Manager will be comfortable working independently, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and leading external teams.
