Position Details
  • Salary Range: $160k - $190k (DOE)
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

Job Summary

We are building a team of driven individuals who appreciate a result-oriented, collaborative, and casual environment. GK seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Asset Manager to execute business plans and achieve financial objectives for GK’s real estate portfolio. The role involves making operational and strategic recommendations, coordinating with various departments, and optimizing portfolio performance while communicating results to stakeholders.

Essential Functions

This description highlights key responsibilities including:

  • Operational Strategies: Collaborate with in-house teams to implement strategies that maximize asset value and prepare financial projections.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review performance regularly to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.
  • Business Plan Strategies: Develop and adjust business plans, present recommendations to leadership.
  • Capital Projects: Monitor scope, budget, and schedule for capital improvements.
  • Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare investor reports, assist in annual budgets, and review property taxes.
  • Benchmarking & Financing: Compare performance to benchmarks, evaluate financing strategies.
  • Third-Party Oversight & Acquisitions: Manage property managers, develop underwriting for acquisitions, and oversee dispositions.
  • Compliance & Market Monitoring: Ensure lender compliance, monitor market conditions, and write investor communications.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Market analysis, risk evaluation, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience in multifamily or commercial asset management (5-7 years), managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and embody entrepreneurial spirit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, or finance.
  • Understanding of real estate investment concepts and proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
Additional Details

Travel required to properties across California and nationally. Work environment is primarily office-based with occasional field visits.
