Job summary

Unifi, the nation’s largest aviation services provider, seeks a Capital Assets & Lease Senior Accountant/Manager in Atlanta to oversee fixed assets, leases, and related costs under U.S. GAAP.

The role partners with Legal, Real Estate, Procurement, and Operations to ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and compliance. You will manage lifecycle accounting, start-up costs, intangible assets, and monthly close, delivering precise schedules, audit readiness, and strong internal controls

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 842 lease accounting is required.
• Experience with fixed assets, leases, CIP, and intangible assets.
• Ability to liaise across Legal, Real Estate, Procurement, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal.
• Prepare depreciation, amortization, and asset reconciliations.
• Record and review lease accounting entries and liaise with lease system.
• Oversee capitalized costs related to start-up activities and contract costs.
