Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a Mechanical Integrity & Reliability Manager to direct inspections, drive asset integrity, and improve reliability across refinery systems. The role requires leadership of the inspections team, interpretation of relevant codes, and oversight of RBI programs.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting and scheduling for integrity activities, mentor engineers and supervisors, and ensure audits and QA/QC for major and minor repairs, with a focus on safety and continuous

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
• 15+ years in Refining or Petrochemical required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Familiarity with process safety/environment regulations, and knowledge of refinery processes and budgeting.
• Knowledge of fitness for service analysis and NDE inspection techniques with guidance to maintenance/operations.
• Proficiency in interpretation/application of ASME/NBIC, API, ASTM, ANSI, and TEMA.
• Working knowledge of Mechanical Integrity and RBI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision for inspections and reliability discipline engineering.
• Lead the Toledo Refinery team toward industry best practices in mechanical integrity.
• Interpret mechanical integrity codes and standards; ensure compliance.
• Oversee RBI programs; ensure audit-ready documentation and records.
• Coordinate asset integrity initiatives and reliability improvement opportunities.
• Coach Inspection Superintendent and Reliability Manager; participate in refinery leadership.
• Oversee QA/QC in repairs and ensure safe, cost-effective equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with project engineering for reliable, efficient equipment purchases.
