Job summary

FHP Manufacturing in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Assembly Team Lead to coordinate daily operations on the Assembly Line. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will lead a team of 10–15 associates, ensure quality standards, and maintain efficiency through lean manufacturing principles.

You will train new hires, promote BPS, and ensure timely delivery of components and finished units in line with production schedules, while maintaining a safe, organized work environment and compliance with

Qualifications

Must be able to coordinate tasks for a team (10–15 people).
Must read and follow work instructions, safety and quality procedures.
Must be able to work overtime when requested.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Area Supervisor to manage daily assembly line activities.
Train and mentor new hires and cross-training initiatives.
Implement Business Process Standards for continuous improvement.
Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to production schedules.
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings and SHS.
Use tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform tests.
Inspect products for quality and manage non-conforming materials.
Rework units to meet quality standards.
Support a safe and organized work environment and proper material handling.
